Fitness Classes

Engaging recreation and fitness activities are regularly held during term time to promote physical wellness and an active lifestyle within the college community.

Mindfulness Classes

  1. Introduction to Mindfulness: Care for Oneself, Care for Each Other


    Wednesdays, 2 hours each session
    • Week 1 – Self-care
    • Week 2 – Mindfulness of Emotions
    • Week 3 – Care for Others
    • Week 4 – Mindfulness in the Classroom (Everyday Mindfulness)

  2. Intermediate Mindfulness: A Mindful Journey to Happiness


    Tuesdays, 2 hours each session
    • Week 1 – Be Here Now
    • Week 2 – Mindfulness for Restless Bodies and Minds
    • Week 3 – Mindfulness for Training Your Attention
    • The Skills of Happiness

Yoga Classes

For beginners. Limited mats available. Sessions led by our Student Associates.

Zumba

Inspired by various styles of Latin American dance and music, our Zumba class is exhilarating with easy to follow steps combined with a high-energy workout! No experience required! All are welcome!

Got an idea for a wellness-related initiative on campus? Apply for funding through the Community Initiatives Funding supported by Campus Life. Examples of past projects include campus gratitude booths, active listening workshops and dialogues on body positivity. All students are eligible to apply!
