Sexual Misconduct

Yale-NUS takes consent and sexual misconduct/respect very seriously. There are resources & support for students who are seeking help, including info on survivor support and policies.

Yale-NUS College is committed to maintaining and strengthening educational, working, and living environments founded on community, mutual respect and trust among students, faculty, and staff. Sexual misconduct is antithetical to the standards and ideals of our community, as is any form of intimidation or exploitation, and will not be tolerated.

The links to the left contain information about our policies and procedures for filing disciplinary reports, a list of staff and faculty who are trained in supporting students, official Yale-NUS College definitions for sexual misconduct/consent/intimate partner violence/etc, and more. As a community member, it is important to familiarise yourself with these materials in case you need to provide resources to a friend or utilize them yourself.

Any questions about sexual misconduct, disciplinary procedures surrounding sexual misconduct, providing support for survivors of sexual assault, seeking support for yourself or a friend, or questions/concerns about the information contained in these websites can be directed to the Associate Director, Residential Education, at
