Tinesh graduated from both Yale-NUS College with a BA in History and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy with a Master in Public Policy. Tinesh is excited to be joining Yale-NUS as a Saga College Dean’s Fellow. Tinesh enjoys learning about Southeast Asian history (especially of the Malayan Peninsula) and look forward to engaging more closely with ASEAN’s growth in the coming decade.
As part of Yale-NUS’s inaugural cohort of students, community building is very dear to Tinesh. During his time as a Yale-NUS student, Tinesh has had the privilege of founding clubs, being the first Sports Director, and participating in many community building events. In his new capacity as a Dean’s Fellow, Tinesh seeks to help students similarly build and grow our community even further. Sports and board games dominate Tinesh’s free time – he is always down for football, floorball, and Catan!Advice for Students
