It’s hard for me to decide where home is. I was born in Michigan, and grew up in Singapore and California. I attended seven different schools in my K-12 education! I did my undergraduate degree at the University of California, San Diego, where I was involved in everything – student government, orientation, residential life, Christian fellowships, and pre-professional organizations. Through my college experiences, I fell into the field of Student Affairs. I was part of the NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program (NUFP) in my senior year of college, and went on to get my Master’s in Postsecondary Educational Leadership & Student Affairs at San Diego State University. I’ve worked in student activities, first-year programs, career services, study abroad advising, and residential life. Most recently, I was at Ngee Ann Polytechnic advising the performing arts and cultural student organizations and the students’ union. I’m so thrilled to be at Yale-NUS College! There’s nowhere I rather be than working directly with college students and creating meaningful programs every day!

I checked an item off my bucket list and got my diving license this year! Unexpectedly, I hated it (much to the relief of my parents) because it was way too quiet underwater. I had no one to talk to! So please come talk to me!! I am quite the coffee snob and will be happy to handbrew a cup for you. I only ask that you handgrind your own beans ;)
