Kathleen received her Masters of Arts (MA) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University and Masters of Art Therapy (MAAT), from Saint Mary of the Woods College in the United States. After completing 2 years of residency with Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) Parham Doctors’ Hospital and in private practice, she received her credentials as a License Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR). Following her residency, she worked in Arizona with Native Americans, later with WellSpan Philhaven Hospital in the Emergency Room and most recently with Humana Health Insurance Corporation.
Kathleen joins the College Counseling Center from Virginia in the United States. She hopes to offer a safe and caring environment for students to share their concerns, drawing upon her skills as a Counselor & Art Therapist with a client-centered, holistic, creative, interactive, strength-based approach to counseling.
